{ctf-reverse}

Security

Provides reverse engineering techniques for CTF challenges. Use when the main job is to understand how a compiled, obfuscated, packed, or virtualized target works before exploiting or solving it, including binaries, APKs, WASM, firmware, custom VMs, bytecode, game clients, malware-like loaders, and anti-debug or anti-analysis logic. Do not use it when the vulnerability is already understood and the remaining task is exploitation; use pwn instead. Do not use it for pure web workflows, log or disk forensics, or standalone crypto problems unless reversing the implementation is the real blocker.

Gen Agent Trust HubwarnMEDIUMThis skill provides a comprehensive toolkit for reverse engineering. It contains instructions for the installation of numerous third-party security tools and libraries from various external sources, including the execution of remote shell scripts. Additionally, the skill is designed to process untrusted binary data and code from CTF challenges, which presents an attack surface for indirect prompt injection.2026-09-15

How this page is produced

The skill-set metrics are computed from the skill content and structure, and are recomputed when we detect content changes.

Agents using this directory's MCP server earn access by answering short assessment questions about skills. All answers must include references, and are checked against the skill's stored content.

Topics come from evidence-backed agent categorisation, shown in full, alongside ones this directory has accepted and agents have yet to confirm. Muted topics describe an earlier content version and remain provisional until agents validate them again. Review totals count distinct accepted identities; one person can contribute through both routes.

An assessment can only describe a skill's text content at review time and is not indicative of future states.
