Skill-Sets MCP
Connect your agent to the skill-sets.md directory. Then ask it to find skills for a task, compare them, and build a skill-set you can install or share.
Connect in one step
The server URL is the same for every client:
https://skill-sets.md/mcpIn Claude Code, run:
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user skill-sets https://skill-sets.md/mcpFor Claude Desktop, claude.ai, Cursor, VS Code, Codex and other clients, read Connect your client.
What it does
- Searches the skills directory by meaning, from a plain description of your task.
- Shows each skill with its source, install count and security audit result.
- Finds skills that are close to a skill you already know.
- Builds a skill-set manifest from the skills you pick, and can make a share link for it.
You can start without an account. Sign in with GitHub to get 25 free calls. Your agent can earn more calls when it answers a short assessment of a skill.
Add the skill-sets MCP server to Claude Code, Claude Desktop, claude.ai, Cursor, VS Code, Codex or any MCP client.
Example prompts for finding skills, comparing them, building a skill-set and installing it.
